Macit Uzun, who was born in 1959 in the Perşembe district of Ordu, graduated from Gülhane Military Medical Faculty in 1984.

Deciding to specialise in Orthopedics and Traumatology, Macit Uzun had a one-year internship experience at Hermann Hospital, affiliated with the University of Texas Medical School in Houston.

He is fluent in English as a foreign language. After his work experience at Etimesgut Military Hospital, he joined Özkaya Medical Center as an Orthopedics and Traumatology Specialist.

In our hospital he performs, bone and limb lengthening surgeries, fracture and deformity surgery, knee arthroscopic surgery and meniscus surgery, cruciate ligament and cartilage repair surgeries, shoulder arthroscopic surgery for dislocation and repair of rotator muscle tears, knee and hip prosthesis surgeries, toe deformity (hallux valgus) surgeries and all kinds of fracture-dislocation surgeries.
